1. Introduction
This Warranty Policy ("Policy") explains the warranty terms applicable to repair, installation, maintenance, spare part replacement, and Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) services provided by Metro Click LLP ("Metro Click", "Company", "We", "Us", or "Our").
The purpose of this Policy is to clearly define:
- Warranty coverage
- Warranty exclusions
- Customer responsibilities
- Warranty claim process
- Conditions under which warranty becomes void
This Policy forms an integral part of Metro Click's Terms & Conditions.
2. Scope of Warranty
This Warranty Policy applies to services provided for:
- Air Conditioner
- Washing Machine
- Refrigerator
- LED TV
- Microwave Oven
- Kitchen Chimney
- Geyser
- RO Water Purifier
- Ceiling Fan
including:
- Repair
- Installation
- Uninstallation
- Maintenance
- AMC Services
- Spare Part Replacement
3. Warranty Duration
Metro Click does not offer a fixed warranty period for all services.
The warranty period depends upon:
- Appliance category
- Nature of repair
- Spare part replaced
- Manufacturer recommendations
- Service package
- AMC plan (where applicable)
The applicable warranty period will be communicated to the customer through:
- Invoice
- Service Report
- Job Sheet
- WhatsApp Confirmation
- SMS
- Other written communication
4. Warranty Coverage
Metro Click provides a limited warranty only for the specific repair work carried out by the Company.
Warranty may cover:
- Reoccurrence of the same defect.
- Defective workmanship.
- Defective spare part installed by Metro Click.
- Repair failure directly related to the original service.
The warranty does not extend to the complete appliance unless specifically stated in writing.
5. Repaired Component Warranty
Metro Click's warranty applies only to the component repaired or replaced during the service.
Example 1
If the technician repairs:
- AC PCB
and later:
- Compressor fails,
the compressor issue shall not be covered under the PCB warranty.
Example 2
If the washing machine drain pump is replaced and, after some time, the motor develops a fault, the motor issue will not be covered under the drain pump warranty.
Example 3
If the refrigerator thermostat is replaced and, at a later date, the compressor becomes defective, the compressor issue is considered a separate repair and is outside the warranty scope.
6. What is Covered
Subject to verification, Metro Click may provide warranty support for:
- Same fault recurring during the warranty period.
- Failure of the repaired component.
- Failure of the spare part installed by Metro Click.
- Defects in workmanship.
- Incorrect installation performed by Metro Click.
Metro Click may choose to:
- Re-inspect the appliance.
- Repair the covered issue.
- Replace the defective covered part.
- Provide another suitable remedy.
The decision shall remain at Metro Click's reasonable discretion after technical inspection.
7. What is NOT Covered
The following are not covered under warranty:
- New or unrelated faults.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Cosmetic damage.
- Plastic parts.
- Glass breakage.
- Rust.
- Corrosion.
- Rodent damage.
- Insect infestation.
- Water damage.
- Flood damage.
- Fire damage.
- Lightning.
- Voltage fluctuation.
- Electrical surge.
- Improper earthing.
- User negligence.
- Mishandling.
- Physical damage.
- Manufacturer design defects.
- Factory recalls.
- Consumable items unless specifically included.
8. Warranty Verification
Before approving any warranty claim, Metro Click may verify the service using:
- Registered Mobile Number
- Complaint ID
- Invoice
- Job Sheet
- Service History
- Internal Records
If booking details cannot be verified through the registered mobile number, the customer may be required to provide the original invoice or complaint ID.
Metro Click reserves the right to reject unverifiable warranty claims.
9. Customer Responsibilities
To keep the warranty valid, customers must:
- Use the appliance according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Follow technician recommendations.
- Maintain proper electrical supply.
- Avoid unauthorized repairs.
- Report warranty issues promptly.
- Preserve invoices or complaint IDs where reasonably possible.
- Provide access for inspection.
Failure to comply may affect warranty eligibility.

11. Warranty Void Conditions
The warranty provided by Metro Click shall become void immediately if any of the following circumstances occur:
- The appliance is repaired, serviced, modified, or opened by any unauthorized person after Metro Click has completed the original repair.
- The appliance has been subjected to misuse, abuse, or negligent handling.
- Physical damage occurs after the service has been completed.
- Damage is caused by accidents, improper transportation, or relocation of the appliance.
- The customer fails to follow operating or maintenance instructions provided by the manufacturer or Metro Click technician.
- The appliance identification details (such as serial number or model number) have been removed, altered, or tampered with.
- The fault reported under warranty is different from the original repair performed by Metro Click.
12. Unauthorized Repairs
Metro Click's warranty is valid only when the repaired appliance remains untouched by any unauthorized service provider.
If another technician, service center, or individual:
- Opens the appliance,
- Repairs it,
- Replaces parts,
- Modifies wiring,
- Alters internal components,
before Metro Click inspects the reported warranty issue, the warranty shall automatically become void.
13. Damage Beyond Metro Click's Control
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from circumstances beyond Metro Click's reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Power fluctuations or voltage surges.
- Improper electrical wiring.
- Improper earthing.
- Water leakage or flooding.
- Fire or smoke damage.
- Natural disasters such as earthquakes, storms, or floods.
- Rodent or insect infestation.
- Corrosion, rust, or chemical exposure.
- Intentional or accidental physical damage.
Such issues shall be treated as separate repair requests and may be chargeable.
14. Spare Part Warranty
Where Metro Click installs a replacement spare part, the warranty shall apply only to that specific spare part and only for the warranty period communicated at the time of service.
If the replacement part is found to be defective within the applicable warranty period due to manufacturing defects or installation-related issues, Metro Click may, after verification:
- Repair the part,
- Replace the part, or
- Provide another suitable remedy.
This warranty does not extend to any other components of the appliance.
15. Warranty Claim Procedure
To request warranty service, customers should contact Metro Click through our official communication channels and provide, where available:
- Registered mobile number
- Complaint ID
- Invoice or job sheet
- Appliance details
- Description of the issue
Metro Click may request additional information if required to verify the claim.
Warranty service will be scheduled subject to technician availability and service location.
16. Inspection of Warranty Claims
All warranty claims are subject to technical inspection.
The technician will determine whether:
- The reported issue is the same as the original repaired fault.
- The issue falls within the warranty coverage.
- The warranty remains valid.
- Any warranty exclusion applies.
The outcome of the inspection will determine whether warranty service is provided free of charge or treated as a new service request.
17. Repeat Repairs
If the same covered fault reoccurs during the applicable warranty period and the warranty claim is approved, Metro Click may, at its discretion:
- Repair the issue again,
- Replace the covered spare part, or
- Provide another appropriate solution.
This Policy does not guarantee a refund or replacement of the entire appliance.
18. Limitation of Warranty
The warranty provided by Metro Click is limited solely to the repair or replacement of the covered component or workmanship.
Metro Click does not guarantee:
- That the appliance will never fail again.
- That unrelated components will remain functional.
- That future repairs will not be required.
- Continuous or uninterrupted operation of the appliance.
The warranty is limited to the specific service performed and shall not be interpreted as a warranty for the entire appliance.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Metro Click shall not be liable for:
- Loss of business or income.
- Loss of profits.
- Loss of data or settings.
- Food spoilage due to refrigerator failure.
- Damage resulting from delayed reporting of faults.
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from appliance malfunction.
Nothing in this clause limits any rights available to customers under applicable consumer protection laws.
20. Policy Amendments
Metro Click reserves the right to amend or update this Warranty Policy from time to time.
The latest version shall become effective upon publication on the official Metro Click website.
Customers are encouraged to review the current version before requesting warranty services.
21. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Warranty Policy shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of India.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in New Delhi, India.

23. Acceptance of this Warranty Policy
By availing any service from Metro Click, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:
- They have read and understood this Warranty Policy.
- Warranty coverage is limited to the specific repair or spare part covered under this Policy.
- Warranty claims are subject to verification and technical inspection.
- Metro Click's decision regarding warranty eligibility will be based on the findings of the inspection and the terms of this Policy.
24. Effective Date
This Warranty Policy shall become effective from the date it is published on the official Metro Click website and shall remain in force until replaced by a revised version.
